Protective effects of extract of the herb of the gastric mucosa

    Recently, the Hubei Institute for Nationalities researchers published a paper aims to explore the herb extract (Rhizome Atractylodes extract, ERA) protective effect of gastric mucosa and its influence on spleen immune function in rats with gastrointestinal, spleen deficiency clarify ERA intervention mechanism. Research indicates that, ERA inhibit gastric damage in rats spleen deficiency syndrome, protection and restoration of mucosal tissue damage and improve immune function in rats with spleen deficiency syndrome. This article was published in 2015 on the magazine "Southern Medical University."

    Using feeding Xiaochengqi decoction plus irregular diet establish Syndrome Model Rats model successfully copied spleen were randomly divided into model group, ERA high, medium and low dose group, domperidone group. Continuous gavage 10 d. Rat intestinal perfusate Ig A content, abdominal aortic blood collection serum Ig G content detection of intestinal perfusion assay and measuring the thymus, spleen index, HE staining was observed in rat gastric mucosa pathology line laser Doppler measurement meter line microcirculation of rat gastric mucosal blood flow was measured expression of gastric and colon tissues of rats TFF1 TLR4 of immunohistochemistry.

    Compared with the normal group, the gastric mucosa morphology model group, gastric mucosal blood flow, related immunological parameters change significantly; compared with the model group, the rat gastric mucosa morphology ERA in each dose group, gastric mucosal blood flow, gastric tissue in trefoil factor 1 (TFF1) the expression of the intestinal perfusate Ig A, Ig G serum content, thymus, spleen index and the expression of TLR4 increased colon varying degrees, differences were statistically significant (P <0.05 or P <0.01).
